About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in media automation and machine learning workflows including OCR, TTS, and Computer Vision. You will take the lead in architecting our content ingestion process, transforming it into a high-velocity, automated pipeline. Your skill set should enable you to shift seamlessly between high-level Angular frontend development and intricate Python/PHP backend logic essential for processing complex media.
Your goal will be to connect raw data with usable content, focusing on enhancing the accuracy of automated text extraction and audio synchronization. You will ensure that even the most complex or non-standard content layouts are accurately parsed and presented through a dynamic, high-performance interactive user interface.
Key Responsibilities
- ML Pipeline Orchestration: Develop and optimize workflows for OCR and Speech-to-Text, emphasizing spatial accuracy, coordinate mapping for non-standard layouts, and font recognition.
- Automated Media Alignment: Create and manage systems to synchronize various media formats, such as aligning full-book audio narrations with document text through automated timestamping and segmentation.
- UI Interaction & State Management: Spearhead the development of the Angular content workbench, addressing complex state issues and ensuring interactive elements (such as coordinate-based 'word boxes') are responsive and precise.
- Backend Infrastructure: Enhance the PHP backend to support complex media processing tasks while ensuring high performance and reliability.
