Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and maintain secure, containerized multi-service environments that support AI-powered compliance platforms. Configure reproducible, vendored dependency management suitable for air-gapped or restricted network scenarios. Implement robust identity and access controls for both frontend and backend services. Create and enforce secure CI/CD pipelines with automated code quality and security validation processes. Enhance infrastructure and application layers to ensure security for Department of War production environments. Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Cybersecurity specialists, and Financial Subject Matter Experts to ensure secure and scalable deployments. Required Qualifications:Active Secret clearance is mandatory. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of full-stack development experience. Prior experience in supporting Department of Defense or other regulated federal environments is preferred. Proficiency in modern React (TypeScript, hooks, functional components), including state management, form validation, and client-side routing with protected routes, as well as API data-fetching libraries. Expertise in building RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI or similar), with capabilities in ORM-based data modeling, schema migrations, request/response validation, and auto-generated API documentation. Familiarity with OIDC/JWT authentication mechanisms.

Join us as a Senior Full Stack Developer I to play a pivotal role in a high-profile, AI-driven financial compliance program for the Department of War. This essential initiative is focused on modernizing compliance and audit workflows for over 180 systems. You will be responsible for architecting and securing the deployment infrastructure that supports AI-assisted compliance validation, semantic search, and enterprise governance within restricted Department of War environments.

This position offers a hybrid work model, with a preference for candidates based in the D. C. metro area who can participate in in-person meetings as necessary.
