We function at the pivotal intersection of customer delivery and core platform innovation.About the RoleAs a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will spearhead intricate, end-to-end deployments of cutting-edge models in collaboration with our most pivotal clients. You will be responsible for the entire process from discovery and technical scoping to system design, construction, and production rollout, working hand-in-hand with client engineering and domain teams.Your success will be measured through the adoption of production systems, tangible workflow improvements, and evaluation-driven feedback that shapes product and model development. You'll engage closely with our Product, Research, Partnerships, GRC, Security, and GTM teams.This opportunity is based in London, utilizing a hybrid work model of three days in the office each week. We provide relocation assistance and require travel of up to 50%.Your ResponsibilitiesLead technical delivery across multiple deployments, from initial prototype to stable production.Develop full-stack systems that deliver significant customer value and enhance our learning processes.Work closely with client teams, understanding their requirements, and driving the adoption of the solutions you create.Plan tasks, prioritize delivery, and proactively eliminate obstacles.Balance trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality; adapt plans to safeguard timely delivery.Contribute directly to code when necessary for progress or clarity.Document effective working practices in tools, playbooks, or reusable components for team use.Provide feedback from the field to assist Research and Product in identifying model strengths and areas for enhancement.Ensure teams remain aligned and productive through clear communication and follow-through.Ideal Candidate ProfilePossess 5+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience, including customer-facing roles.Demonstrated ability to scope and deliver complex systems in dynamic or ambiguous environments.Proficient in writing and reviewing production-grade code across frontend and backend technologies, including Python and JavaScript.
