Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer for a hybrid position, ideally suited for individuals with experience in life safety code consulting, sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm systems, and passive fire protection. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards, along with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC). Familiarity with performance-based fire engineering design is an added advantage.
This role requires collaboration with a diverse team of Fire Protection Engineers, offering full-time engineering and technical support at a prominent government location in the metropolitan Washington, DC area, with the possibility of a hybrid work schedule. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise in fire protection across various systems and approaches within a unique and challenging environment.
