Thorough knowledge of financial and accounting principles. Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision, thriving in a demanding environment.

The Senior Financial Business Partner at Luminis Health supports financial planning through detailed analysis and close collaboration with finance analysts. This position builds strong partnerships with clinical and operational leaders throughout the organization, helping shape informed business decisions.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate collection of key volume data for AAMC organizations to support revenue and expense planning.
  2. Maintain and present volume data in reporting formats for senior leadership, highlighting historical trends and seasonality.
  3. Develop net patient revenue projections by analyzing rates, volumes, payer mixes, and allowances, and validate against actual financial statement revenue.
  4. Create projections for other operating revenues using detailed assumptions.
  5. Prepare and manage the budgeting system, ensuring historical data is accurate and up to date.
  6. Upload historical and current data into budget templates for departmental leaders, aligning with margin improvement goals.
  7. Analyze salary structures based on FTE mix, merit adjustments, and other factors, ensuring consistency with salary expenses and FTE reporting.
  8. Work with department leaders to ensure timely and thorough review of capital and operating expense requests.
  9. Contribute to the development, preparation, and consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  10. Produce clear, concise, and timely reports for management throughout the planning process.
