Role overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will help develop and scale Future's financial infrastructure. This position sits at the intersection of accounting and finance, ensuring financial accuracy while providing insights that guide business decisions. The role offers broad exposure to business operations and financial decision-making, working closely with both finance and operations teams. As an early member of a lean team, this person will have a direct impact on financial processes and performance analysis. Over time, the position will expand to include Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and strategic finance responsibilities as the company grows.
What you will do
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Lead the monthly and quarterly closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee key accounting workflows, such as journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Maintain the integrity of financial data by ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and classified.
- Continuously improve reporting processes for greater speed, accuracy, and transparency.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Work with finance and operations teams on budgeting, forecasting, and tracking performance.
