Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Cash Flow & Financial Reporting: Lead the treasury function by managing cash flow forecasting and ensuring adequate liquidity to support operational needs and strategic growth. Tax & Compliance: Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors; ensure compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP and robust internal controls across the group. Oversee global tax initiatives, including UK Corporation Tax, VAT/GST in the US and EU, and R&D tax credit claims. Financial Operations & Controls: Design, implement, and continuously enhance a strong internal control framework while fostering a culture of accountability and rigorous risk management across all business operations. Lead the production of monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements for multiple global entities. Transform financial processes to scale efficiently and automate where advantageous. Additionally, manage a direct report and oversee the outsourced finance function. Requirements:Certification: ACA / ACCA / CIMA QualifiedExperience working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proven communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly.

Role overview
The Senior Finance Manager / Financial Controller will join the e-commerce marketplace team in London. This role works closely with the CFO, focusing on financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The position is responsible for maintaining strong financial controls and delivering strategic insights to guide business decisions and growth.
What you will do
- Lead financial planning and analysis work
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy
- Maintain and improve financial controls
- Provide clear, actionable financial insights to both finance and non-finance teams
- Collaborate closely with the CFO and work across departments

Location and working pattern
This position is based in Central London. The team follows a hybrid schedule, with at least three days per week in the Soho office. Candidates should be able to commute to the office.
