Key Responsibilities:
• Execute expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance procedures. This encompasses observing devices in operation to identify root causes of issues, dismantling devices to access and replace defective components, inspecting parts for imperfections, adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, testing devices for performance, and reconditioning machine tools.
• Identify and procure necessary parts, supplies, and repair items, and assess alternatives to enhance equipment cost-effectiveness and reliability.
• Independently perform maintenance tasks in accordance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with customer representatives to enhance maintenance, reliability, and preventative maintenance processes.
• Set up and operate various machining operations, including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools, and perform welding tasks as required.
• Adhere to customer contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping standards, and safety protocols.
• Document all work performed in service reports and management systems, providing written explanations of observations and equipment performance data.
• Mentor junior technicians and lead project teams, delivering expert functions as part of training and development initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems to resolve intricate software, hardware, and configuration problems.
• Utilize advanced maintenance technologies to gather equipment performance data, observe trends, and make informed recommendations.
• Complete and conduct on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career advancement.
• Comply with all safety policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines, while maintaining situational awareness to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
