Our Electron rocket has emerged as the second most frequently launched U. S. rocket annually, successfully delivering over 230 satellites to orbit. We are also actively developing Neutron, our upcoming medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle designed for deploying larger satellite constellations. Our Space Systems division is responsible for designing and manufacturing an extensive range of satellites, payloads, and components, including spacecraft selected to support NASA missions to the Moon and Mars, as well as components utilized in the James Webb Space Telescope.

The Facilities team at Rocket Lab is dedicated to the maintenance, operations, and improvement projects across our locations, ensuring that our facilities are well-managed and function optimally for our teams.
SENIOR FACILITIES ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN / MASTER FACILITIES ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Located at Rocket Lab's headquarters in Long Beach, California, the Facilities Electrical Technician will be responsible for electrical maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and electrical improvement projects at our main site and Engine Development Center.
(Note: This role can be filled at either the Senior or Master Facilities Electrical Technician level.)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the primary electrical subject matter expert for the headquarters and Engine Development Center.
- Plan, scope, and execute electrical infrastructure projects, including power distribution, panel upgrades, machine installations, lighting systems, and equipment tie-ins.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across various departments including Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, Production, and IT.
