About the job

Join Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Engineer and Maintenance Shift Leader focusing on Final Assembly Testing and Inspection. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the operational efficiency of testing equipment such as Functional Testers (CCS, SzP, AnP), Flash Testers, In-Circuit Testers (ICT), Intermediate Test Stations, AOI, and FOI.
  • Implementing the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle for testing and inspection processes.
  • Managing shop floor testing and inspection operations during rotational shifts.
  • Addressing and eliminating recurring issues in the testing and inspection processes.
  • Driving the application of best practices and continuous process improvements.
  • Quickly diagnosing equipment failures, conducting thorough investigations into tester card failures, contact pin issues, and wiring problems.
  • Leading discussions with process owners and Centers of Competence (CoC) to resolve ongoing challenges.
  • Overseeing spare parts management, ensuring all necessary components are available and managing obsolete spares efficiently.
  • Participating in design reviews to provide insights on testability and reliability.
  • Working on enhancements to tester performance and coaching the team on DLR management and SysCIP.
  • Fostering skill development within the team.

Periodic tasks include:

  • Evaluating and integrating new automated testing tools and methodologies.
  • Analyzing test results and providing constructive feedback to process owners and product development teams.
  • Coordinating with process owners for improvement initiatives.
  • Adapting to changes in management quickly.
  • Creating and reviewing Machine FMEA, transitioning potential points into Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM).
  • Facilitating knowledge transfer and lessons learned sharing among team members.
  • Implementing RPP measures for productivity and process enhancements.
  • Proactively identifying quality risks and managing breakdowns and corrective actions through predictive measures.

Occasional responsibilities involve the implementation of digital maintenance systems, including i4.0 solutions, AI/ML, BOT, RPA, and predictive maintenance.
