LG Electronics seeks a Senior Employee Relations Specialist & Cultural Ambassador to join the team in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. This role focuses on driving employee relations initiatives and shaping a positive organizational culture across major business units in the United States.

Role overview

This position blends HR Business Partner expertise with responsibility for employee relations, culture-building, and compliance. The Senior Employee Relations Specialist & Cultural Ambassador leads workplace investigations, especially those that are complex or high-risk, working closely with Legal, Compliance, and business leadership. Oversight extends to compliance and risk management for HR practices and policies, including PTO, severance, leaves, and anti-discrimination, across a shared services environment that supports multiple manufacturing and office sites.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and resolve employee relations cases, ensuring thorough and legally sound documentation.
  • Analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions to strengthen culture and reduce repeat complaints and grievances year-over-year.
  • Design and deliver coaching and training programs for managers to build people management skills and support their teams effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a senior employee relations role, preferably in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
  • Strong judgment and communication skills, with a focus on ethical and inclusive workplace practices.
  • Ability to achieve measurable improvements in employee engagement, performance, and risk mitigation.

Performance goals

  • Reduce repeat employee complaints and grievances through strategic interventions.
  • Resolve cases within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Empower managers with effective coaching and training programs.
