Role Overview: Senior Embedded Security Engineer - Flight Software
This role focuses on strengthening the security of software running on True Anomaly’s space vehicles. The Senior Embedded Security Engineer works alongside engineers from multiple disciplines to develop and secure flight software, meeting strict safety-critical standards.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with flight software engineers to integrate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Serve as a security subject matter expert for embedded software.
- Establish secure coding standards and design security testing frameworks.
- Guide the team in enforcing security controls for resource-constrained embedded environments.
- Implement and audit secure boot processes and firmware validation.
- Develop and review cryptographic implementations and runtime hardening measures.
- Create systems for memory safety, secret and key material management, and secure inter-process and inter-device communication.
