ResponsibilitiesOversee the complete hardware design lifecycle, from conceptualization, safety analysis, and requirements definition through to schematic capture, layout, validation, and production. Design and prototype resilient low-voltage zonal control modules tailored for automotive applications. Address power electronics challenges, including designing solid-state circuit breakers and distributed DC-DC converters for optimal power delivery. Guarantee signal integrity and interface compatibility across PCBs, sensors, actuators, and communication buses such as CAN, SPI, Ethernet, and various analog/digital I/O. Engage in cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, thermal, software, vehicle dynamics, manufacturing, validation, and supply chain teams. Assess and incorporate new components and technologies, including microcontrollers and high-side drivers, while collaborating with suppliers to develop custom solutions. Implement EMC best practices throughout the design process to ensure compliance and system reliability. Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and failure investigations on PCBAs and electronic subsystems. Support system integration and vehicle testing efforts as required.

The Senior Electronic Design Engineer will take the lead on designing zonal hardware for upcoming electric vehicles. This hardware underpins power distribution, fault management, and control systems within the vehicle. The work plays a direct role in advancing the performance, safety, and efficiency of software-defined vehicles.
