FACILITIES
The Facilities team at Rocket Lab is responsible for maintaining, operating, and enhancing our facilities across various locations, ensuring that the environments our teams work in daily are well-maintained and functioning optimally.
SENIOR / MASTER ELECTRICIAN
Located at Rocket Lab's headquarters in Long Beach, California, the Electrician will oversee electrical maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and improvement projects at our headquarters and Engine Development Center.
(Note: This position can be filled at either the Senior Electrician or Master Electrician level.)
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Acting as the primary electrical subject matter expert for both the headquarters and the Engine Development Center.
- Planning, scoping, and executing electrical infrastructure projects, including power distribution, panel upgrades, machine installations, lighting systems, and equipment tie-ins.
- Collaborating directly with internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, Production, IT) to establish electrical requirements, project timelines, shutdown periods, and commission processes.
