In this role, you will:Craft and implement KAYAK’s North American flight commercial strategy, engaging with airlines, OTAs, consolidators, and innovative distribution models. Enhance revenue and market competitiveness by optimizing commercial models and leading intricate negotiations from strategic alignment through to execution. Discover growth opportunities within OTA and direct airline partnerships, incorporating NDC, EDIFACT/GDS channels, direct APIs, and hybrid distribution methods. Evaluate performance across routes, carriers, and points of sale to inform negotiation strategies and commercial priorities. Address marketplace challenges using inventive, data-driven commercial strategies that extend beyond conventional industry practices.

We are on the lookout for a Senior Director of Flight Commercial Partnerships to spearhead and expand our North American flight commercial strategy. This pivotal role is crucial for driving revenue growth, optimizing margins, and establishing long-term strategic value across various partnerships, including airlines, OTAs, consolidators, ancillary services, and distribution channels throughout the region.

You will oversee the entire commercial lifecycle for flight partnerships in North America — from strategic planning and deal structuring to execution, optimization, and ongoing relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in travel distribution, coupled with robust analytical skills and a sophisticated grasp of airline revenue management, OTA economics, and fare systems infrastructure.
