Position Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer who possesses 4-5 years of hands-on experience in architecting, executing, and overseeing advanced DevOps solutions. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, GitOps practices, production release management, and team leadership.
This role is based in our Bangalore, India office.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps Strategy & Leadership
- Establish and drive best practices in DevOps automation.
- Provide sound decision-making support to stakeholders and technical teams.
- Collaborate effectively with development, QA, SRE, and operations teams for seamless integration.
CI/CD Pipeline Management
- Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, and GitOps workflows.
- Ensure robust security checks, code scanning, and quality gates.
- Pursue continuous improvement in release automation and deployment processes.
Containerization & Orchestration
- Create and manage containerized environments.
- Deploy, scale, and manage applications on Kubernetes.
- Implement GitOps-driven deployments using Argo.
Infrastructure Automation
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible.
- Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code environments for scalability and immutability.
- Enhance operational efficiency through comprehensive automation.
Production Management & Reliability
- Oversee production deployments, incident responses, and root-cause analysis.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems.
- Manage environment configurations, release calendars, and more to optimize operations.
