You'll collaborate with passionate teammates who support each other, challenge norms, and celebrate achievements. Equipped with cutting-edge tools and a culture that nurtures ambition, you'll not just contribute; you'll drive impactful change.
We are currently on the lookout for a Senior DevOps Engineer who possesses a software-first mindset to join our talented Platform Engineering team. We seek an engineer who perceives infrastructure as a software product rather than just managing tools.
This position requires a proactive individual with a comprehensive view—someone who takes initiative, considers the broader implications of their work, and leads complex projects from concept through to production. You will be part of a collaborative global team where effective communication is essential to paving the way for our developers across multiple cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Development: Design and implement robust, scalable CI/CD platforms utilizing GitHub Actions, creating custom actions and reusable workflows that function seamlessly as an internal product.
- Software Automation: Build internal tools and CLI utilities in Go or JavaScript to automate intricate SDLC tasks and minimize manual processes.
- Kubernetes Maintenance: Serve as a maintainer for our Kubernetes ecosystem, ensuring the platform is optimized for developer workloads, scalability, and high availability.
- End-to-End Ownership: Oversee projects from architectural design through implementation and long-term maintenance, proactively identifying system-wide bottlenecks before they manifest as issues.
- Declarative Infrastructure: Spearhead the establishment of GitOps workflows utilizing ArgoCD, treating application state and infrastructure as version-controlled code.
- Cloud Orchestration: Provision and manage complex GCP and AWS environments following software-defined infrastructure principles.
- Global Collaboration: Collaborate closely with distributed teams of Architects and Engineers, ensuring transparent communication and alignment across varying time zones.
