About the In-Person Payments Team
The Pay business unit includes the In-Person Payments (IPP) team. This group focuses on making payment processing easy and reliable at physical locations, think festival bars, restaurants, or airports. Payment is often the final touchpoint in any customer journey, so it needs to be quick and positive. The IPP team aims to unify online and in-person payments into one integrated, omnichannel solution.
Role Overview: Senior Developer – In-Person Payments
This Senior Developer role sits within the IPP team in Madrid. The team designs, builds, maintains, and operates CM.com’s in-person payments products. The goal: create a scalable, sustainable architecture that lets merchants connect with customers and offer smooth payment experiences.
Senior Developers here work closely with colleagues in Madrid and other locations. The work covers everything from designing new features to ensuring payments are secure and reliable in real-world settings.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain products for in-person (card-present) payments.
- Help unify online and in-person payment systems into a single platform.
- Design scalable solutions that support merchants in delivering seamless payment experiences.
- Collaborate with a skilled development team across multiple offices.
- Contribute to the team’s mission of making payment moments secure and effortless for end customers.
