Role overview
The Senior Data Scientist, Programmatic Algorithms, joins the Programmatic Experience Group at impact.com. This position centers on designing and implementing machine learning models that improve yield, pricing, and inventory allocation across a large-scale programmatic marketplace. The work combines data science, platform engineering, and marketplace economics to drive measurable results.
What you will do
- Architect and build machine learning models to optimize programmatic marketplace outcomes.
- Design and maintain data pipelines that support these models.
- Develop features to enhance model performance and accuracy.
- Deploy real-time inference systems to enable rapid decision-making.
- Influence the balance between advertiser performance and publisher monetization within the marketplace.
Collaboration and ownership
This is a high-ownership individual contributor role. The Senior Data Scientist works closely with Product, Data Science, and Programmatic Delivery Engine Engineering teams. The position offers significant autonomy and calls for both analytical rigor and practical machine learning engineering skills.
