Role Overview
As a Senior Data Science Engineer at qodea, you will play a crucial role in transforming analytical insights into production-ready models. Your focus will be on core data science and machine learning, particularly in recommendation systems and predictive analytics. You will collaborate within a cross-functional team to ensure our AI solutions are practical, scalable, and robust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct statistical modeling and apply both supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms.
- Preprocess, clean, and engineer features from large datasets to enhance model performance.
- Utilize graph structures for analytical insights and work with graph databases.
- Integrate large language models (LLMs) into applications for reasoning and data comprehension.
- Design and implement model validation and evaluation frameworks to ensure reliable predictions.
- Collaborate with MLOps and data engineers to transition models from research to production.
Qualifications That Will Make You Stand Out:
- Proficient in Python for data analysis and machine learning using TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with model clustering and segmentation techniques.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, employing an iterative approach to development.
- Familiarity with MLOps principles, including versioning and monitoring.
- Skilled in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Additional Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with data vectorization and emerging vector-based technologies.
