Work Model: This is a 100% on-site role at our Tempe office, Monday through Friday.
About the Team and Position
In today’s data-driven landscape, data reigns supreme, and our team is at the forefront of this movement. If you are passionate about deciphering intricate data sets from various sources, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. Our data science and analytics team is responsible for automating every aspect of Carvana, from modeling consumer behavior to enhancing user experiences.
Everyone aspires to predict the future, and our team excels in doing just that. We aggregate data from Carvana and external sources to analyze past consumer behaviors and forecast future trends. Whether assessing credit risk or optimizing inventory and pricing strategies, this team is always on the cutting edge.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identify, acquire, and productionalize new data sources, both structured and unstructured, to support our data science team.
- Design and maintain the predictive modeling data pipeline, facilitating data acquisition, model building, production scoring, and ongoing model maintenance.
- Architect robust and scalable data pipelines for predictive model training, monitoring, and serving.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to build and deploy new RESTful services.
- Design and develop high-availability applications utilizing technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
