Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 4+ years of professional experience in a Data Engineer role or equivalent. Proficiency in data platforms such as Azure Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake. Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools, cloud services, and storage solutions. Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or similar languages. Familiarity with big data technologies and concepts, including Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka. Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have Relevant certifications in Azure Data Engineering, Databricks, or Snowflake. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

The Senior Data Engineer develops and maintains scalable data platforms and pipelines. This position works closely with data analysts, scientists, and engineers to deliver secure and reliable data solutions. Key technologies include Azure Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake.

Main responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines and architectures.
  • Create solutions using cloud platforms such as Azure Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Optimize data workflows for reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Maintain data security and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Support data modeling, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes.
  • Recommend strategies to enhance data quality and analytical capabilities.
