Position: Senior Compliance Officer - Card Networks

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Compliance Officer for our Compliance team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in Card Networks, the payments sector, and/or the finance industry. Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams—including risk, legal, finance, and sales—are essential for providing pragmatic advice that drives sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify compliance obligations in line with Card Network and Local Payment Methods Rules.
  • Translate compliance obligations into actionable Policies and Procedures for global implementation.
  • Represent the Compliance team across various workstreams and products, aligning strategies with global objectives to ensure compliant growth.
  • Enhance knowledge management and educational resources across the organization.
  • Engage in Product Risk Assessments and provide guidance to other compliance areas.
  • Oversee first-line compliance operations.
  • Manage escalations from global stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Evaluate opportunities and risks from multiple perspectives to deliver compliant solutions aligned with commercial and strategic goals.
  • Advise and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.
