Join our team as a Senior Cloud Architect focused on Microsoft Azure, where you will play a crucial role in pre-sales engagements and align our innovative services with the delivery team. You will lead technical customer interactions regarding Azure Cloud Infrastructure, driving architectural design sessions and overseeing specific implementation projects or pilots. Your expertise in customer-facing roles and experience in steering in-depth technical architecture discussions with senior executives, Enterprise Architects, and IT Management will be key to your success.
Your Responsibilities:
- Leverage your technical expertise and customer insights to establish a modernization roadmap. Design architectural solutions that align with business and IT objectives, ensuring the technical feasibility of new projects and successful deployments while coordinating essential resources and integrating key infrastructure technologies (e.g., Windows and Linux IaaS, Security, Networking).
- Guarantee that all solutions demonstrate exceptional performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability upon deployment.
- Evaluate customers' understanding of the Azure platform and their overall cloud readiness during pre-sales engagements.
- Implement the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Design Patterns, and Well-Architected Framework in solution design during the pre-sales phase.
- Collaborate with fellow Cloud Solution Architects to develop intricate end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Provide size estimates for the solution architecture design and engage with NCS partners when necessary.
- Assist the implementation team in transitioning agreed solutions to the delivery architect for execution.
- Stay updated on technical skills, market trends, and competitive insights; share knowledge within the technical community.
- Partner with the Head of Cloud to create new service offerings and contribute to the development of service descriptions and scopes of work for these offerings.
- Collaborate with the Head of Cloud to refine existing offerings by updating service descriptions and scopes of work.
- Act as an Azure Platform advocate among customers and within internal communities, mentoring new members in training and certification processes.
