Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Several years of experience in automotive design or CAD engineering roles. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in working effectively within cross-functional and international engineering teams. Technical Requirements:Extensive experience with PTC Creo and CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and 2D drawing development. Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis. Experience in generating and managing Digital Mock-Ups. Familiarity with gasoline, electric, and hybrid engine systems and their associated connections, including hoses and wiring harnesses. Knowledge of engineering data management systems such as KVS, PDM Connect/Windchill, ECA, and AVON. Experience with TeamCenter Connect, Model Check, and Pro-Repair. Understanding of automotive engineering processes and industry standards.

Join SEGULA Technologies as a Senior CAD Design Engineer and play a pivotal role in an automotive development project based in Puebla. This position emphasizes advanced CAD design tasks, tolerance analysis, and digital mock-up creation for powertrain systems. The selected engineer will provide essential technical support for engine development programs while ensuring adherence to established engineering processes and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine 3D models and 2D drawings utilizing PTC Creo and CATIA V5.
  • Conduct tolerance analysis using GD&T principles to ensure optimal component fit and functionality.
  • Create and manage Digital Mock-Up (DMU) assemblies to facilitate product integration and design validation.
  • Offer technical assistance during the development of engine systems and associated components.
  • Ensure that design activities comply with internal engineering standards and development processes.
  • Support design validation and documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to guarantee proper system integration and compliance with technical requirements.
