About the Role

As a Senior Business Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing operational challenges before they escalate into crises. You will be responsible for creating systems that permanently eliminate friction and designing solutions that empower teams to operate independently. Your efforts will drive January towards operational excellence, fostering a proactive approach to achieving our vision more efficiently and resiliently.

In a dynamic environment where operational inefficiencies can accumulate unnoticed, your focus will be on identifying high-impact issues that others may overlook, implementing solutions that enhance team performance and quality of work, and ensuring that your innovations are effectively adopted and scalable.

We seek a visionary who can recognize unseen challenges, design for team autonomy, and enhance the organization’s capabilities to execute its strategic goals through compounding systems.

What You’ll Do

Identify and Manage High-Impact Operational Issues

  • Proactively identify issues that hinder team progress — diagnose operational friction, cross-functional obstacles, and capability gaps before they affect execution quality.

  • Translate observable issues into root cause analyses with significant business implications.

  • Lead critical cross-functional initiatives — transform ambiguous ideas into actionable execution plans with clear milestones and accountability.

Develop Systems to Enhance Team Efficiency and Decision Quality

  • Design effective solutions that address real challenges, investing time in stakeholder diagnosis and validating requirements before implementation while incorporating ongoing feedback.

  • Deliver solutions swiftly: focus on precise scoping to avoid unnecessary complexity, achieving results in weeks rather than months.

  • Establish reusable frameworks that accelerate multiple teams: reduce time spent on manual tasks, eliminate bottlenecks, and expedite decision-making.

Facilitate Cross-Functional Execution and Learn from Outcomes

  • Encourage collaboration across departments to ensure swift implementation of solutions and derive insights from results.
