Key Responsibilities:Achieve and surpass sponsorship sales targets. Expand our client base in the Asia region. Formulate a strategic renewal approach for existing clients. Collaborate with the wider sales team to maximize cross-selling opportunities. Engage closely with marketing, programming, operations, and the Global Events team. Manage client relationships throughout the sponsorship lifecycle, including renewal discussions. Track and report personal and event revenue within the region. Understand the positioning of the Economist brand in the global market while adhering to editorial guidelines. To excel in this role, you should possess:A proven track record in generating sales revenue and developing new business. The ability to work independently to create new business avenues. Experience in event-related sponsorship sales.
