About the Role:
We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Business Applications Security Engineer to join our dynamic Corporate Technology team. This is not just a role focused on maintenance; it’s a chance to build a security framework from the ground up. You will take charge of enhancing the security posture of our entire business application ecosystem, which includes Salesforce, Workday, and various departmental tools, transitioning from a fragmented, reactive stance to a unified, proactive, and robust security strategy. Your primary goal will be to align business needs with cloud-based software solutions through effective implementation, optimization, and vendor management.
Your mission will be to elevate business application security from being an afterthought to a foundational competency. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building from scratch: Create and implement a comprehensive business application security program where none currently exists.
- Owning the ecosystem: Take complete ownership of the security posture across over 200 business applications (SaaS, cloud, and on-premise).
- Establishing standards: Define what constitutes as “secure” for business applications and ensure compliance across all tools.
- Shifting left: Integrate security into procurement, integration, and lifecycle management processes.
