Our team works on essential services that support the Roku ecosystem, including device and account setup, identity management, authentication, channel distribution, and publishing.
About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineer to join our Roku APPS team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in microservices architecture. If you have a proven track record of enhancing large-scale systems, enjoy developing consumer-centric platforms, and have a passion for innovation while balancing learning and organization, this position could be perfect for you!
Your Responsibilities
- Develop large-scale platform products and services utilized by Roku engineers across the organization and directly by consumers on millions of devices.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to iterate and develop software from ideation through production deployment and support.
- Lead initiatives to assess new technologies and advocate for best practices throughout the entire development lifecycle, including code and design reviews.
