About the Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer on the HTS Media team, you will be instrumental in developing the engine that fuels our advertising ecosystem. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, constructing, and optimizing high-throughput, low-latency services that manage ad requests, conduct auctions, and deliver millions of pertinent offers to travelers in real time. This is a pivotal role where your contributions will directly influence platform performance, the success of advertisers, and Hopper's financial outcomes.
You will confront intricate challenges inherent to the ad tech sector, from enhancing our real-time bidding (RTB) algorithms to guaranteeing millisecond response times even under substantial loads. As a technical leader, you will mentor fellow engineers, guide architectural decisions, and uphold the standards for producing high-quality, scalable code.
