As a Senior Associate (SA) at Ramboll, you will be at the forefront of structural engineering excellence, fostering a culture of high performance and technical competence. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the design and project delivery processes for our Buildings teams in Singapore and across the APAC region.
Working alongside the Technical Director or Projects Director, you will focus on refining and strengthening our design methodologies while driving project success. Your contributions will be pivotal in executing the Buildings APAC strategy and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor, develop, and lead structural design teams.
- Oversee and lead the structural design process, ensuring the production and coordination of all project deliverables, including reports, calculations, tender submissions, technical documentation, sketches, presentations, drawings, and specifications.
- Direct the initial design concepts through to detailed design, project supervision, and quality assurance, working on high-rise projects across commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors both locally and globally.
- Prepare and execute structural analysis and design, including Finite Element Analysis, and develop detailed design reports, calculations, sketches, and drawings.
- Collaborate with BIM modellers and technicians to create BIM models and drawings that meet client requirements and design intentions.
- Lead and coordinate project deliverables and submissions to relevant authorities.
- Review and validate drawings, calculations, reports, and other deliverables.
- Manage design coordination with other disciplines and participate in the bidding and tender processes.
- Support business development initiatives by preparing client/project proposals and negotiating fees.
- Assist in structuring project teams and planning projects, contributing to the growth of the business and the Ramboll brand.
- Undertake additional leadership tasks as assigned by management.
