Summary
The Senior Associate for Pre-Launch is responsible for overseeing the entire merchant onboarding process, from contract initiation to installation, prior to transitioning accounts to the Post-Launch team. This role necessitates technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and adept project management to ensure a flawless onboarding experience. The Senior Associate also plays a crucial role in menu programming, training, and proactive problem resolution, delivering exceptional service to Shift4’s SkyTab merchants.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with merchants to ascertain their POS needs, reporting requirements, and SkyTab configurations.
  • Independently manage the complete onboarding lifecycle, including data collection, configuration, and scheduling installations.
  • Program merchant menus, configure online ordering systems, and verify the accuracy of marketplace integrations and orders.
  • Train merchants on utilizing Shift4 products and services effectively.
  • Provide exemplary service, ensuring merchant satisfaction throughout the onboarding process.
  • Maintain clear communication across all interaction channels (email, phone, tickets, chat).
  • Conduct research and apply problem-solving skills to evaluate the feasibility of requests and develop solutions.
  • Accurately document interactions and configurations using Excel, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Monday.com.
  • Continuously update and maintain industry knowledge regarding merchant processing and Shift4 systems.
  • Assist with special projects as directed by leadership.
