Role Summary and Impact
As the Senior Associate Director of Paid Social, you will play a crucial role within our Media Activation team, spearheading social strategy and supporting the PA Lead while guiding the Social team. You will act as the main point of contact for paid social initiatives for Google Hardware, delivering innovative and category-defining strategies across social channels for both brand and performance. This position demands a profound understanding of paid social best practices, a collaborative approach, and the ability to provide sharp strategic insights. You will be responsible for leading and nurturing a high-performing paid social team dedicated to the Google Hardware product area, ensuring excellence in work quality and client outcomes.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Oversee strategic implementation and integration of paid social campaigns within broader media strategies.
- Collaborate with Client Services, Planning, and Activation Leads for effective capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Lead the development of regional paid social best practices, ensuring global consistency and accountability within the team.
- Act as the primary contact for all paid social activation discussions with internal and external stakeholders for assigned accounts.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and key media partners, leading communications and proactively addressing needs.
