Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of innovative solutions from the project's inception, aligning with client goals while promoting design excellence.
- Oversee material and building system design, ensuring comprehensive project specifications are coordinated and prepared.
- Implement CDM Safety in Design principles throughout all design phases.
Managerial Duties:
- Manage personal and team workloads to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure project delivery on time, adhering to the Design Brief and client requirements.
- Guarantee accuracy and multi-disciplinary coordination of design documentation produced by your team.
- Maintain technical quality in line with AECOM's standards.
- Utilize your expertise to manage daily operations of design teams.
- Engage effectively with clients, contractors, and local authorities to resolve critical project issues.
- Provide key design input during early project phases and maintain design leadership throughout.
- Encourage teamwork and a positive creative culture within the multi-disciplinary practice.
- Assess and make decisions regarding corrective work to support design concepts and performance objectives.
- For site projects, facilitate the interface between Design and Site Teams, ensuring timely design support.
- Assist Associate Directors and Directors with operational responsibilities, including managing resources and training initiatives.
- Participate in resource forecasting and management activities.
- Contribute to business reporting as required.
