Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, or NewRelic. Comfort in utilizing automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) for troubleshooting and optimization. Strong communication skills in both Greek and English. A collaborative spirit, valuing teamwork and knowledge sharing. This role may involve shift work and occasional international travel due to our global clientele.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Application Support Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the reliability and seamless functionality of our applications. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing intricate production challenges, driving system enhancements, and guiding junior team members.

  • Diagnosing and resolving production incidents at the 2nd level, adhering to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) to pinpoint and alleviate recurring issues.

  • Improving and refining existing monitoring and alerting systems, utilizing tools such as Nagios, Grafana, and NewRelic.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Development, DevOps, and QA) to enhance system stability.

  • Simulating incidents in test environments and confirming fixes prior to deployment.

  • Managing problem tracking and resolution, ensuring ongoing service improvement.

  • Providing mentorship and technical support to junior team members.
