What You'll Bring:A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics. At least 2 years of experience in team building, coaching, and leading analysts. Proficient in SQL and experienced in creating data pipelines; capable of designing complex data models independently and guiding a team in their implementation. Strong quantitative skills, ideally supported by a background in statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, computing, or related scientific fields. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analytical solutions for business contexts and drive customer impact. A proactive approach to work with the ability to structure business problems with minimal supervision and prioritize collaboratively across teams. Ownership mentality; eager to take initiative beyond analysis and drive results.

Join Wise as a Senior Analytics Manager, where you'll drive our mission of Money Without Borders. Collaborate with the Payment Operations team to enhance our payment systems through data-driven decision-making, ensuring seamless transactions for our customers.

The Payment Operations team is dedicated to resolving payment issues and optimizing fund movements, allowing us to deliver fast and convenient payment experiences.

In this leadership role, you will spearhead analytics initiatives to diagnose payment challenges across our operational regions, forecast capacity, and provide insights that enhance the processing performance of our banking partners. You will also be instrumental in shaping our data strategy to evaluate and elevate the quality of our payment processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned analyst with a strong product mindset and a desire to delve deeper into the intricacies of payment systems. You will have the chance to lead a diverse international team and collaborate with over 250 analysts on cross-team projects, fostering knowledge sharing and innovative ideas to advance analytics across Wise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to translate insights into actionable changes that enhance customer experiences and support our mission.

  • Present data in meaningful ways, assisting other teams in uncovering valuable insights.

  • Take ownership of key metrics, driving accountability and enthusiasm throughout the organization.

  • Guide and support senior and lead analysts in building scalable data pipelines, generating accurate reports, and deriving actionable insights from data.

  • Develop the data framework focused on quality assurance, improving forecasting accuracy, and achieving operational excellence.

  • Collaborate with operational leadership to automate features that minimize workload, mitigate financial risks, and enhance customer experiences.
