The Senior Analytics Engineer in London connects complex chemical data with the systems that drive discovery, shaping tools and infrastructure for computational designers and medicinal chemists. This work supports informed, data-driven decisions throughout discovery programs.
This position advances analytics and automates the platform, helping to close the Design-Make-Test-Learn (DMTL) loop and speed up design cycles. The role carries responsibility for the analytical ecosystem, including the Spotfire library, data schemas, and automation services. The main goal is to turn complex data into actionable insights to improve the platform and accelerate Recursion’s mission to decode biology and improve lives.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain integrated project dashboards that align assay results with portfolio data for design teams.
- Code and manage repositories for Spotfire automation and BigQuery integration to streamline data flow across the discovery lifecycle.
- Design and refine metrics and predictive modeling workflows to guide next-best design choices and track project progress.
- Create automated reporting pipelines that surface critical signals, enabling teams to respond quickly to new scientific findings.
- Collaborate across functions to turn strategy into scalable analytical tools, using adoption metrics to prioritize impactful features.
- Define and evaluate metrics for product success, tool adoption, and scientific impact, helping teams focus on priorities that accelerate drug discovery.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in analytics maturity and implement solutions that modernize data interactions for scientists.
- Contribute to the development of advanced analytical methods and tools to strengthen overall analytical capabilities.
