Job Mission
As a Senior Analyst in Business Control, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between financial performance and manufacturing operations in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Global Manufacturing Controller, your role will involve transforming intricate financial and operational data into actionable insights that facilitate decision-making, enhance cost efficiency, and improve forecast precision. This position is perfect for a proactive finance expert who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing landscape and enjoys close collaboration with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks for Global Manufacturing Operations in Singapore, including detailed variance and trend analysis.
- Produce timely and accurate financial management reports through rigorous data validation, reconciliation, and the maintenance of comprehensive financial records.
- Serve as a trusted finance business partner to both manufacturing and functional stakeholders, linking financial results with operational performance.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programs by delivering in-depth analytics on key cost drivers, productivity, and performance metrics.
- Examine business expenditures, capital expenditure plans, and related variances by function or business unit, including actual versus standard cost analysis by product line.
- Utilize SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, and automation tools to enhance management reporting, financial modeling, simulations, and forecasting accuracy.
- Prepare and monitor grant audits in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost integrity and professionalism, ensuring strong internal control awareness.
- Engage in additional projects to broaden exposure to various business operations, including mergers and acquisitions.
