Preferred: Previous Competitive Intelligence (CI) experience in Oncology, particularly in Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (NMIBC).
Roles & Responsibilities:
Competitive Intelligence:
- Monitor and collect market intelligence, competitor activities, and epidemiological data relevant to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors.
- Analyze news reports and deduce strategic implications, including team actions and necessary communications with stakeholders.
- Conduct interviews with healthcare professionals (HCPs), payers, and other external experts.
Epidemiology:
- Evaluate the target patient population using prevalence, diagnosis, and treatment rates to forecast patient needs.
- Familiarity with both epidemiology models and sales volume-based IMS models is essential.
Market Assessment:
- Create comprehensive market primers that cover both clinical evidence and commercial insights for specific indications.
- Analyze competitive strategies for upcoming therapies and identify potential market opportunities, including revenue potential and licensing possibilities.
Company Profiling:
- Conduct in-depth competitor profiling focusing on therapeutic areas using publicly available data as well as proprietary resources.
Conference Coverage:
- Participate in key medical and commercial conferences to analyze clinical data and engage with delegates on assigned topics.
- Oversee pre-congress planning through abstract mining and manage post-congress reporting.
Project Engagement:
- Handle all client communications, fostering both offshore and onshore relationships; participate in kick-off meetings and present interim and final deliverables.
- Deliver presentations to clients via teleconference and in-person meetings.
