Role Overview: Senior AI Software Developer

The applied AI team at Syndio seeks a Senior AI Software Developer to design, build, and scale AI systems that address complex compensation and compliance problems. This role involves close collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI and machine learning systems that support client compensation needs.
  • Build and maintain applications leveraging large language models (LLMs) and context engineering techniques.
  • Work with data scientists to transition validated proofs of concept from research into production environments.
  • Integrate AI features into existing products and services through APIs and microservices.
  • Create and implement evaluation frameworks to assess model accuracy, reliability, and performance.
  • Monitor production systems and optimize models based on evaluation metrics and real-world usage data.
  • Keep current with rapid developments in the AI field and prototype new ideas quickly.
