Role Overview: Senior AI Agent Researcher

This position is based in Markham, Ontario. The Senior AI Agent Researcher will play a key role in designing and developing advanced AI agents, with a focus on integrating state-of-the-art research into practical systems.

What You Will Do

  • Design and build next-generation AI agents using large language models for autonomous reasoning, planning, and task execution.
  • Develop core agent features such as memory, tool use, self-reflection, and long-term decision-making.
  • Create and improve multi-agent systems to support collaboration, coordination, and complex problem-solving.
  • Integrate AI agents with external tools, APIs, and real-world systems for end-to-end automation.
  • Research and advance methods in reasoning-enhanced LLMs, agent alignment, and embodied intelligence.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to move research from concept to scalable, production-ready systems.

Compensation

Total target annual compensation for this role is between $127,000 and $225,000, depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
