Conduct analytical functions to facilitate accurate and timely general ledger month-end closes, including income statement and balance sheet analysis, preparation of financial statements, and general accounting support for financed and non-financed projects. Prepare monthly draw packages for designated construction projects. Leverage financial reporting software to develop, maintain, and update reporting templates and data queries. Ensure comprehensive documentation supports financial statement assertions and the efficacy of internal controls over financial reporting. Provide precise general ledger account coding for construction projects to support business operations. Assist corporate accounting teams with ad hoc requests, including preparation of fixed asset forms. Collaborate closely with technical accounting professionals to investigate accounting principles and reporting issues.

Reporting to the Construction Accounting Manager, this role focuses on managing financial data, processing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations. The Senior Accountant will help ensure monthly and quarterly financial reports are completed on schedule, maintain internal controls, and oversee accounting activities for various parts of Clearway's renewable energy construction projects.
This position also takes on ad hoc assignments that cover all aspects of accounting for utility-scale construction ownership structures.
