A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in GL, financial reporting, and group consolidation. Experience in managing a small team is an advantage. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations. A meticulous team player with a hands-on approach. Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with a commitment to continuous learning.

Join our committed Finance team at the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), where you will play a vital role in ensuring precise financial transactions and compliance with the Charities Act, as well as the Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore. You will support financial reporting, budgeting, and initiatives that drive our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review group consolidation and statutory financial statements while ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
  • Lead external and internal audit processes, ensuring that schedules, data, and responses are prepared accurately and on time.
  • Oversee tax compliance for various activities, including GST, withholding tax, and corporate tax computations, along with tax-related documentation.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes independently, ensuring both timeliness and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with group policies and local statutory requirements.
  • Provide guidance to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Oversee treasury and banking matters, including cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts, collaborating with Heads of Departments to align financial plans with business objectives.
  • Conduct detailed financial data analyses to identify trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously enhance close and reporting processes through automation and system improvements using technology tools.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
