To excel in this role, candidates should possess:An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business from an accredited institution.3 to 6 years of full-time experience in private or public accounting or equivalent industry specialization. A robust understanding of accounting principles, generally accepted accounting practices, and financial systems. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and other accounting software. The ability to quickly learn and adapt to varying client needs. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. A keen eye for detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines within budgetary constraints.

We are on the lookout for a full-time Senior Accountant to enhance our Accounting and Advisory Services Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team that delivers exceptional accounting and bookkeeping services across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with fellow team members to ensure high-quality accounting services for our clients, taking ownership of both the process and outcome.
  • Delegate tasks to staff based on their expertise and capabilities.
  • Mentor and train staff and interns by timely reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback to aid their professional growth.
  • Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting functions as required by clients.
  • Oversee month-end procedures, including general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, perform financial analysis, and generate comprehensive reports for clients.
  • Prepare detailed analyses and working papers for the client’s external audit team for their review or audit of year-end financial statements.
  • Keep supervisors or partners informed of the progress on assignments.
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned clients.
