Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Security Engineer to become our inaugural security hire at Momenti, reporting directly to our Engineering Director. In this influential role, you will be charged with safeguarding the security and integrity of our systems, applications, and data. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, formulate and implement security protocols, and provide continuous support to ensure a secure environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact and help shape the security framework at Momenti.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement robust security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect Momenti's technological assets.
• Conduct ongoing security evaluations, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses to uncover and mitigate potential security threats.
• Work alongside software engineers and other team members to establish secure coding standards and practices to ensure secure software development.
• Actively monitor and respond to security incidents, investigating and resolving breaches, intrusions, and unauthorized access attempts.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in security technologies, trends, and best practices, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance our security posture.
• Conduct training sessions for employees to foster a culture of security awareness and best practices within the organization.
