About the job

The Security Development Engineering position is an integral part of our SecDevOps team, dedicated to bridging the gap between Security and Engineering. This hybrid role requires on-site participation for specific activities such as training, assessments, and team meetings.

As a senior-level security development engineer, you will act as a key technical liaison for security-related engineering initiatives. You will collaborate closely with security engineering, operations, and build teams, assisting the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Control Assurance and Security Operations Center (SOC) Vulnerability Management teams in the initial triage of vulnerabilities. Your expertise will guide the creation of actionable items for operations and facilitate escalations to Product or Cloud teams as necessary.

In this role, you will review responses from team members, ensuring comprehensive consideration for the final lists. You will also support various assessments and audits by participating in interviews and managing escalations related to operational and engineering concerns. Your role may involve providing guidance on how security controls are implemented through automation and configurations, as well as gathering evidence for assessors.
