Vaxcyte is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist (contract) with expertise in microbial fermentation and upstream processing to join our Upstream Polysaccharide Process Development team. The successful candidate will lead experimental design and execution to enhance and optimize polysaccharide manufacturing processes involving microorganisms. A hands-on laboratory background in microbial fermentation is essential, along with a keen willingness to acquire new laboratory skills. This role mandates over 50% of time spent in the lab, requiring the ability to independently document experimental procedures and results in both written and presentation formats.
