Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with telemetry, command and control systems, and anomaly detection. Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

SATELLITE OPERATIONS AND RELIABILITY ENGINEER (STARLINK)

Starlink boasts the largest satellite constellation, delivering fast and reliable internet access to over 9 million users globally. As we continue to innovate and expand our constellation, we seek top-tier engineers to contribute to this remarkable endeavor.

As a Satellite Operations and Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in harmonizing electrical, mechanical, and software engineering. Your mission will be to ensure that the hardware on thousands of satellites operates efficiently for millions of users from low-Earth orbit, while maintaining collision avoidance and upholding space safety standards. You will be responsible for issuing commands and responding to alerts to optimize the performance of the world's largest satellite constellation. Collaborating with subsystem engineers, software developers, and guidance navigation and control specialists, you'll create tools, implement mitigations, and propose upgrades to our orbital assets. Additionally, you will define and refine procedures for operating and monitoring new hardware versions, satellite capabilities, and the latest Starlink satellites, directly influencing the design of future satellites. Your efforts will drive automation, continuous improvement, and process enhancements to achieve maximum reliability with minimal operational overhead.
