Position Overview
The Salesforce Business Analyst will be an integral part of the Global CRM team, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. This role involves translating business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, as well as facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, and backlog grooming meetings. The Salesforce Business Analyst is expected to perform essential functions outlined below.
Essential Job Functions:
- Engage with business stakeholders across the organization to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Convert business requirements into precise functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and backlog grooming meetings.
- Work closely with Salesforce Administrators and Developers to ensure solutions meet business needs, including audit, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Create high-quality documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process diagrams.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution, including test case creation, defect tracking, and validation of business outcomes.
- Collaborate with reporting teams to establish dashboards and key metrics that align with business objectives.
- Support various Salesforce team initiatives.
- Provide project management assistance to the Salesforce team, which includes attending project-related meetings, documenting next steps, sending recap emails, and updating tasks in Jira, our project management tool.
- Review Jira work items weekly to keep stories updated and identify risks or blockers.
- Help with release communications, including drafting email announcements, training materials, and presentations.
- Support additional Salesforce team initiatives.
