About the Role
The Sales Systems Engineer will closely collaborate with the Inside Sales team to inform, educate, and influence partners, resellers, and end-users regarding our innovative products. Responsibilities include effectively communicating Veeam's messaging to various decision-makers, creating compelling content, and delivering engaging product demonstrations. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, technically skilled professional who can partner with sales and support teams to close sales, with a proven ability to define architectural strategies that guide clients towards embracing Veeam technologies.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct virtual presentations and product demonstrations for customers.
- Manage proof-of-concept implementations to technical closure.
- Assist in lead generation through events, webinars, and user groups.
- Work with customers and partners to translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Provide technical expertise on data protection independently to clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to onboard new partners and customers.
- Provide customer insights to Product Management.
- Deliver pre-sales support as customers assess Veeam software.
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Fluency in English and German is required.
- Strong technical acumen and familiarity with data protection solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
